Bridge Basics teaches young people the fundamental structural engineering concepts involved in building five types of bridges. Students become engineers and work in teams to design and build model bridges that solve transportation issues. The emphasis of the classes is on 3-D visualization and building, which allows children to conceptualize ideas in new and exciting ways. The courses include an introduction to basic 3 dimensional and architectural concepts.
